On Saturday, May 16 Lemonade Day will be happening across greater Indianapolis and as a sponsor for the event, Carmel City Center will be one of the many locations where young entrepreneurs will have their stands set up around the project.
The children’s lemonade stands will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at various locations throughout Carmel City Center. During the event, a DJ will be performing live on the interior plaza of the Center. Carmel City Center retailers will have sidewalk sales that will take place during store hours that same day and visitors can shop visiting mobile fashion trucks. Various businesses in the Carmel Arts & Design District will also have sidewalk sales on May 16.
Lemonade Day is a national entrepreneurial educational children’s event brought to Indianapolis by Scott Jones. This unique program teaches kids how to start, own and operate their own business: a lemonade stand. The public is encouraged to patronize these lemonade stands.
Parents and children that are interested in setting up a stand at Carmel City Center are able to contact Lindsay Johnson at 317-218-2687 to secure one of the spots available around the Center.
